It looks like 6:15am is becoming the standard. Just after I lit the lamp in our altar, and sat down to do some japa…I could hear Lil D’s cheerful morning greetings coming from the bedroom.
So, it was another day of abrupt, disorganized yoga practice. Thankfully, Kv saved the day by doing Lil d’s teeth brushing routine with her (which she does most days anyway)… This gave me some time to do a couple of rounds of Suryanamskar, Sirshasana and sarvangasana. Also did the posterior stretch for a while.

And then I finished with a mini Savasana session. All in about seven minutes.
Now I know how Kv must have been feeling for the past 21 months!
I decided to jot down some ideas on how I might be able to wake up earlier in the mornings so that I can get this to work!
- Do the morning errands the night before (dishes, housecleaning, ironing clothes, making lunch?, packing lunch)
- Set your alarm clocks, Dinesh! (both mental and mechanical)
- Do what you can to have a good night’s sleep (maybe I can post about this tomorrow?)
- Pray for help (this should have been number 1)
- If you know that your sleep is going to be interrupted, do what you can to minimize the interruption length and intensity (duh!)
Let’s see if tomorrow is different?
